Description:
According to bug #10991, the documentation in 4.1.12 source was pared down to just the .info file, although the README still listed all versions of the manual as being present in the docs directory. In the most recent snapshot, all the docs are back except the .ps file, but the README still says there is a .ps file in the docs directory. I checked a few of the linux versions and they all look the same, so more than likely all the tarballs have the same documentation. Not earth shattering; I only came across this because I'm building linux-from-scratch and the book gives commands for installing all the documentation listed in the README (and the docs/images directory), which obviously doesn't work.

How to repeat:
Read the README and compare to what is actually in the docs directory.

Suggested fix:
Make sure the README only lists what is actually present in that distribution.

The README definitely needs a facelift. Thanks for pointing this out.

I'd like to assign the task of updating this README file to the Docs team - this is not really a build issue. Stefan, can you please take care of this one? Thanks!

Fixed in 4.0.27 and merged to 4.1.15.

The next 4.1 -> 5.0 and 5.0 -> 5.1 merges
will pull the changes to the 5.0/5.1
trees as well.
