Description:
I would like to install MySQL onto an old server, which has an old disk which is full-ish (wwith only 80Mb Free), so i select to install to e: which has 10GB Free.

However, a dialog box keeps appearing that tells me there is not enough room to install onto drive c:

Why?

How to repeat:
Create a large file on drive c: such that there is only say 50Mb Free.

Make sure another drive has sufficient room to install.

Try to install to that other drive!

Are you tried to set your temporary directory environment variable
for the drive E:\?

Thanks in advance.
