Description:
On MYSQL Connections and editing connection. If you go to advanced tab and change timeout from 60 to 50 it will not save. When you close the program and reopen timeout defaults to 60 again. If you look at the connections.xml file on the computer timeout updates there.

How to repeat:
Open program on Windows 11 and go to a connection and edit connections. Go to advanced tab and change timeout. Close program and go to C: drive - users - user profile - appdata - roaming - MYSQL - Workbench - open connections.xml file with notepad to view the timeout change.

Suggested fix:
Be able to save timeout changes that progress from session to session and when the program closes.
