Description:
After intalling Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4 MyODBC does not work. According to the rollup's faq it is going to be going out in automatic updates in early July 2005. This could break a lot of things.

How to repeat:
1. install rollup from windowsupdate.microsoft.com
2. try to use MyODBC

In my case I have a VB 6 program that used ADO. When I try to open the ODBC connection the program will crash. It's doesn't throw an exception it just crashes.

I've also noticed that if I try to link tables to a MyODBC datasource in MS Access it won't work.

Thanks :)

I was not able to reproduce the bug. After latest update my test case can connect to server without problem. Could you please attach your test case ?

Hi,
I have exactly the same Problem. Uninstalling the Rollup makes everything work again. Maybe a Problem on Access-side ?
