Thank you for the feature request.
On my MacBook, under settings -> Modelling -> Appearance -> Configure Fonts for I see "Simplified Chinese".  Please ref https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/wb-accessibility.html 
Does this help? Please confirm.
