Documented fix as follows in the MySQL 9.3.0 changelog:

    Addressed issues in the server source code documentation as
    noted here:
    
        The index page linked to the MySQL 8.0 Manual. This fix
        avoids the versioning issue here by using an unversioned
        link instead.
        
        For protocol_classic, the parameter type and flag
        descriptions were unclear, and have been improved.
