Description:
I am a new user, trying to get to a shared server for the first time. When trying to connect on my SQL connections, I receive an error message saying "External Component Has Thrown An Exception"

How to repeat:
Open Manage Server Connections
Go to selected shared connections set up, connection method is set to standard TCP/IP over SHH
I've input the necessary parameters such as SSH details, SQL details along with username and password.
SSL details have been provided also.
When selecting "test connection" a error message pops up saying the "the authenticity of host <ssh hostname> can't be established. Server key fingerprint is ...
Then another message pops up saying "External Component Has Thrown An Exception"

Let us inform you about this forum. This forum is not intended for free support.

Each of those repeatable test cases should consist of the series of SQL statements that always lead to the bug that is reported.

First of all, you should use only our binaries, available from https://dev.mysql.com. Next, you should follow the instructions for starting the server, creating data directory, setting up the users,  configuring the server, starting and configuring the client side.

All this is described in our Reference Manual, found also on https://dev/mysql.com. You should follow these instructions to the last detail.

You should follow these instructions , step by step. When and only when some of those instructions do not work , you can report a bug.
