I tried to create an ER diagram using MySQL Workbench.
I could see all my MySQL instances in the navigator, and all my tables were showing up normally there.
I was even able to run queries, and it responds without any issues.

Then I tried to generate an ER model with these tables.
I went to the DATABASE option, selected REVERSE ENGINEER.

it asked for a new database connection.
I entered the connection parameters, including the root user (which is the same one logged into Workbench and was showing the tables in the navigator).
I clicked NEXT, and it showed that the connection was successful (fetch finished).
Then I click NEXT again, and the screen SELECT SCHEMA FOR REVERSE ENGINEER (select the schemas you want to include) appeared, but no schema was shown!!!

I did it ten times (checking for updates of workbench, clearing caches, etc...) and the result was the same.

How to repeat:
follow the steps showed above
