Hello,

It seems like changing datatypes in MySQL workbench is having issues. I'm working on an EER Diagram (not connected to any database) and for some fields, when I select a specific datatype, the change does not occur.
Say the current datatype is VARCHAR(45) and I want to change it to DATETIME(), I select DATETIME() in the Datatype section but nothing happens, it stays to varchar.
This happens for many other datatypes. It looks like a bug.

How to repeat:
Create a table with some fields. Try to change some datatypes. Some will work, some won't.
