Description:
With the introduction of a drain functionality for MySQL Router instances it would be possible to reduce the impact of MySQL Router upgrades or any other type of maintenance operations by following blue/green deployment approaches. This way MySQL Router interventions could be transparent.

Ideally this feature should allow several options:

- Kill all active sessions inmmediatelly
- Set a timeout for all the active sessions to be drained
- Wait until all active sessions have finished

How to repeat:
Non reproducible
