The error can also be replicated with less lines of code, as long as the scrolling function is toggled. Scrolling down and up will show the box blocking the code lines.

EDIT: As long as `toggle scroll` is triggered the box also covers the handles to fold/unfold code blocks. It seems to be a display error connected to the 'blue dot' that indicates the code line is faulty or not. Raised issue to S1 and hope to hear back.

Hello Jeroen, Thank you for the bug report. I tried to reproduce your issue on MacOS with workbench 8.0.36 but I am not seeing any issues at my end. Please upgrade to latest version. Regards, Ashwini Patil

May I ask: Which MacOS version are you running? Does the issue not appear scrolling down and up?

Used MacOS Sonoma and did not see any issue scrolling down and up. Thanks.

Could you try to reproduce it once more to verify?

With this file the issue should come up

Explanation: Thanks for responding. The issue has indeed changed, you are right. On small files (< 60 lines) the blocks don't appear when scrolling is toggled. When a SQL file is used of > 70 lines the issue comes back. Please copy the .sql content of the sample file above to your editor and try again. If the issue doesn't come up, try to generate an even longer file and scroll halfway up, you will see the issue appear.

Additional info: Issue has something to do with the aspect ratio of the screen used. On my Macbook pro (16'') screen it requires less lines of code to activate the issue, compared to a 26'' quad HD monitor. Hope you can reproduce this and keen to hear back. Have a nice evening.

Thanks this issue is still persisting on the latest version of MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 and MySQL Workbench 8.0.34. Could you please evaluate this and suggest what we can do to resolve?

Dear team, is it possible to let me know what I could try to resolve the issue? If you don't see any issues on your end, could you share your MySQL Workbench UI settings? Really pleased to hear back, as this issue is making it hard to use the application
