i attempted to delete a column name and datatype and kept me in the loop. attempted twice and same result happened. then an error message asking me to report the bug

How did you delete column name and datatype? If you are using MySQL Workbench, launch workbench under debug mode (--log-level=debug3) and provide unaltered workbench log file(more details about log are explained here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/workbench-reporting-bugs.html) along with screenshot of the issue?
