Description:
when installing starts with typical than first
"uninstall setpu failed to initalise. you may not be able to uninstall....."

after doing installation with libraries and some files 
installation stops:

InstallShield error

_ins5176_mp appver 5.10.130.0 code 0xc0000005 adress 0x00000000000000

file 9x9a_appcompat.txt

and then installation ends without program group or anything others

How to repeat:
take windous xp home edition with sp2 and all updates

take from mysql.com windows binary 4.0.24 or 4.0.21

zip it in temp order 

setup first internet explorer
setup mysql and get the error

Suggested fix:
i want to install 4.0.21 and work on windows xp sp2

I was unable to repeat the issue reported on my XP Pro SP2.
Maybe it is an environment issue on your box, then I recommend
you to use the package with not install.
