Description:
I'm trying myself to setup a NAS server and all works well until I try to connect my database in Excel through MySQL For Excel (version 1.3.8)

How to repeat:
Install MySQL Community by Windows installer with all default options.
Then install MySQL For Excel
Try to connect database through MySQL For Excel,the error message will show up
"Connection attempt failed"

Please provide a full test case, so that we can try to repeat your problem.
