Description:
Hi,

In 8.2 release notes [1], I read:

[1]: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/relnotes/mysql/8.2/en/news-8-2-0.html

> The START REPLICA statement's SQL_AFTER_GTIDS option is now fully compatible with the multi-threaded applier.

However, I do not see any reference in 8.0 [2] and 5.7 [3] docs to START REPLICA not fully compatible with MTR (I am not referencing 8.1 docs, because of Bug#112955).

[2]: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/start-replica.html

[3]: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/start-slave.html

Many thanks for looking into this,

Jean-François Gagné

How to repeat:
Look at the release note and docs linked in Description.
