Hi,

In 8.2, INFORMATION_SCHEMA.PROCESSLIST is deprecated [1], but SHOW process list still use this table because the default value of performance_schema_show_processlist is OFF.

As INFORMATION_SCHEMA.PROCESSLIST will eventually go away, it looks logic to push more people to use the new SHOWthe table in P_S by having the default value of performance_schema_show_processlist to ON.

I am setting this as a feature request, but there could be an argument to make this a S3 bug as deprecating something that is still used is not what I would expect.
