  I see that this change is in the 8.3.0 release, thanks again for merging it. Could anyone confirm if it will also be in any of the upcoming 8.0.x releases? I don't see it in the 8.0.36 release.

  Also fixed in MySQL 8.0.37. Changelog entry as above. Closed.
