While Clicking on Local instance in mySQL, I was password for root user which I am not aware of and I don't think I have set the password while installing. Please help.

Hello Minarva,

Thank you for the bug report.
To investigate further this issue at our end, may I kindly request you to launch workbench under debug mode (--log-level=debug3) and provide unaltered workbench log file(more details about log are explained here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/workbench-reporting-bugs.html)?
Also, try connecting to localhost without password if you are sure that you have not set the password while creating the root access.
