How to repeat:
1. Download latest release version of MYSQL 8.1.0
2. try installing and at apply configuration tab observe the button instead of Finish it shows as Next.

Suggested fix:
Instead of Next it should be Finish

Thanks for the report. It is not consistent, on that page we write "click finish..." but there is next button only, and it should be next because there is another screen after that one so next is appropriate and on next screen we have finish so I would not agree the button should be finish but the txt should be worded differently (can't press finish when it is not there)

"Next" button is ok as there is another screen afterwards that is meant to show the "Finish" button. Having said that, I agree that the text in the current screen should say "press next..." instead of "press finish...". Will make the corresponding fix. Thank you for the report.

Fixed as of the MySQL Configurator 8.2.0 release, and here's the proposed changelog entry from the documentation team:

On Windows, MySQL Configurator showed "Next" instead of "Finish" on the
"Apply Configuration" wizard page to finalize the configuration process.
