Description:
The sql-mode value set inside my.ini file is not applied after PC restart.

How to repeat:
Update my.ini with the setting:
sql-mode=""

Hi Mr. Winnicki,

Thank you for your bug report.

The location that you are mentioning is not a default location for my.ini files. You should consider using the option "--defaults-file=......" in order for our server to read the configuration file of your choice.

You can also set that variable (sql_mode) in any session or in your application.

Not a bug.
