Description:
I have upgraded the mysql on several machine without any issue ...but on this server it produce following error.
-----------
thd=0x891c078 Attempting backtrace. You can use the following information to find out where mysqld died. If you see no messages after this, something went terribly wrong... Cannot determine thread, fp=0xbffff518, backtrace may not be correct. Stack range sanity check OK, backtrace follows: 0x808d597 0x82e6e08 0x811c6fb 0x808ecd4 0x82eeef4 0x8048101 New value of fp=(nil) failed sanity check, terminating stack trace!
-----------

I have tried to find mysqld.sym.gz ...however can not trace the upgrade issue because it is production server.

How to repeat:
upgrade from 4.0.23 to 4.1.11 or 4.1.9

Suggested fix:
don't know

To analyze this we need the full error message and need to know which
mysql package(s) you were actually installing
