Description:
Hi, I'm establishing a database connection for my work but there are error. I tried multiple troubleshooting and check the connections from the other department and confirmed that i have given a connection. But still i can't establish a database using my workbench

Error Message: External Component has thrown an exception

How to repeat:
I input correct details to create a database connection using Standard TCP/IP over SSH but stil the error message prompt

To investigate further this issue at our end, may I kindly request you to launch workbench under debug mode (--log-level=debug3) and provide unaltered workbench log file(more details about log are explained here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/workbench-reporting-bugs.html)?

I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with workbench 8.0.33 but I am not seeing any issues at my end. Please check the last comment from Bug #101408. Thanks.
