Description:
I installed mysql-workbench-community_8.0.31-1ubuntu22.04_amd64.deb. When I first opened the Workbench by clicking on the Workbench icon the window was totally gibberish and unworkable.

I removed Workbench, did a clean and re-installed. It did not help. The same problem occurred. As it stands Workbench is unusable. I have a screenshot of the window but I don't see a way to provide it here.

I am running Ubuntu under VirtualBox on an Intel I-9. I have a NVIDIA T1000 graphics card and 3840x2160 monitor. I increased the display memory in VirtualBox to 256 MB to take full advantage of the 4K monitor. I do not believe the video card and monitor has anything to do with it because everything else works fine.

How to repeat:
Install and run the application and the problem repeats.

Hello Nelson Muller,

Thank you for the details.
I tried to reproduce your issue on Ubuntu 22.04 with workbench 8.0.31 but I am not seeing any issues at my end.

I identified the problem as being with VirtualBox. I disabled 3D Acceleration and the problem was resolved. I still use 256 MB of display memory to allow the full screen of VirtualBox on my 4K monitor (3840x2160 resolution), but had to disable the 3D acceleration to view the MySQL Workbench display.
