Description:
Installing version 8.0.31 installs all components but flags the .NET Connector installation as failure, with no further explanation. Reviewing the details, there is no information on what is causing this problem.

Tested installing from mysq-installer-web-community-8.0.1.0.msi and from mysql-installer-community-8.0.31.0.msi.
Attempted to install older versions of the connector but the same error occurs.
Similar previously reported issues were reviewed but no suggested solutions resolved the issue.

How to repeat:
1. Download mysql-installer-community-8.0.31.0.msi
2. Run de installer
3. Select "Developer Default"
4. Click "Next>"
5. Click "Execute>"

"Connector/NET 8.0.31" is market as "Failed"

Clicking on "Show Details>" does not display information regarding the reason for the failure.

Thank you for the bug report.
I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with MySQL Installer and tried to install Connector/NET 8.0.31 but I am not seeing any issues at my end.

My installation is also on Windows 10.
I have no doubt that this is a problem that particularly affects my installation, since it is something very large to be massive and has not yet been detected. The downside is that I don't have any information to try to figure it out. Is there anything in the log I attached that tells you how to look for a solution?

Some news about this topic? I am clear that in some installations it works, but I have had the same result in the two computers in which I tried. It is necessary that when any of the components to be installed fail, some information be provided regarding where the problem resides. Otherwise, the product is completely useless.
