The current restriction of 2 temporary tables that are able to be used in stored procedures effectively means that temporary tables are unusable for what I would so is there main purpose which is intermediate manipulations of data within stored procedures. Without this functionality proper tables need to be constructed and all sorts of locking restrictions need to be in place so that multiple calls to the same sp at the same time do not impact one another.

How to repeat:
use a tempoarary table more than two times in a stored procedure
