Description:
I installed ODBC connector 8.0.31. I am not that familiar with these products, so I uninstalled and installed again and now it will not install. I have researched all data on this, ran installation troulbeshooter (windows), and I cannot get it to work

How to repeat:
on windows 10, uninstall, says succesful, install, seems to end short, does not appear in windows adminstrative tools, searching for app does not appear.

I think I answer your question here. I downloaded the installer from your website. I had installed it before, and had it working, but that was a while ago. In the interim, my Microsoft Access Database had crashed and I needed to port it all to a new copy, so I lost the link. I deleted and reinstalled the ODBC Connector several times, and suddenly it will no longer install. In removal and installation it seems to quit before it completes. When istalled it does show installed in Windows Programs and features, the folder does exist in C:\Program Files\MySQL\Connector ODBC 8.0, but if I search for ODBC it sued to pop up, and no longer does

I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with MySQL Installer and installed Connector/ODBC 8.0.31 but I am not seeing any issues at my end.

Understood... so do you want to get on my computer and see for yourself?? I work from home MOnday and Tusday, otherwise available evenings after 6:30 PM EST and weekends.
