Description:
When opening MySQL Workbench, first issue is an error message that says: "Error while loading image - An error occurred while loading image search_sidebar.png"

When closing out of that error, main welcome page opens.

Upon clicking MySQL Connection to go connect to database, the "Opening SQL Editor" box pops up but is then replaced by the following error box & message:
"MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem.
Parameter is not valid.

We are sorry for the inconvenience but an unexpected exception has been raised by one of the MySQL Workbench modules. In order to fix this issue, we would kindly ask you to file a bug report. You can do that by pressing the [Report Bug] button below. ..."

I verified I have up-to-date version of MySQL Workbench.
I have gone into the connection and clicked [Test Connection] and "Successfully made the MySQL Connection".
I have deleted old connection and created new connection, also with successful [Test Connection]

I tried getting into connection using "Database > Connect to Database..." and the same situation occurs where the "Opening MySQL Editor" pops up, and then is replaced by the error message.

Cannot find workaround to get into SQL Editor to manage and update SQL scripts.

Please advise on next steps.

How to repeat:
1) Open MySQL Workbench
2) Click database connection and try to connect

Solution:

Uninstall MySQL Workbench and reinstall.

Thank you for confirming that issue is no longer seen after reinstalling.
