To investigate further this issue at our end, may I kindly request you to launch workbench under debug mode (-log-level=debug3) and provide unaltered workbench log file(more details about log are explained here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/workbench-reporting-bugs.html), along with the screenshot of the error? Hello Aditi, Thank you for the requested details. I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with workbench 8.0.28 but I am not seeing any issues at my end. Looking at the log file shared, you seem to have access issue. "Access denied for user (using password: NO)" Regards, Ashwini Patil
Description: Whenever I open the app/ switch between files/ type anything, close a file; I get "My SQl workbench has encountered a problem. Rectangle {X=120,Y=1,Width=0,Height=19} cannot have a width or height equal to 0" error repeatedly. I am using 8.0.19 version(64 bit) since that is the only version supported for the sql server. How to repeat: I started getting the error all of a sudden within 3 days of installation.
