Description:
I cannot see the menu bar on mySQL Workbench. I wanted to use the edit option, turns out it isn't there because the menu bar isn't. Kindly look into this.

How to repeat:
Everytime I open mySQL workbench the menu bar isn't there.

I've tried to reproduce your issue on a Mac with workbench 8.0.28 but not seeing any issues at my end.
Discussed internally with the WB developers and confirmed that it is not seen.

Hello!

I think Ananya Singh saw, as I did, that in the documentation for the Workbench in Figure 8.1 a menu is displayed for the Visual Editor > https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/wb-sql-editor.html.
