Description:
MS Access process does not close even though MS Access application is closed (gone from Applications tab but still visible in Processed tab in task manager). This only occurs after a pass through query to a MySQL table or attached MySQL table is opened/viewed. If the MS Access applicaiton is opened and closed without using MyODBC then the process ends normally.

Windows XP SP2, MyODBC-3.51.11-2-win, connecting to MySQL 4.0.15

How to repeat:
1. Install and setup MyODBC (I am using a system DSN).
2. Open MS Access.
3. Attach MySQL table or create pass through query.
4. Open table or query.
5. Close MS Access.
6. Open task manager and go to Processes tab. MS Access still running.

I wasn't able to repeat the behavior reported with XP SP2, 4.0.24 server
and MS Access 2003.

Yes I confirm It disappears from Processes Tab and I tested
with the linked table and pass through query.

I have the same problem.

The MySQL 5 Server is running on Win2k and Access is running on an WinXP SP1 and on a WinXP SP2 machine. I tried MyODBC 3.51.12 and MyODBC 5.0.0.0 and always have the same problem.

But this problem not only occurs with Access. I've made a VB6 program and the connection to MyODBC works fine. But when I close the program, the connection and the VB6 programs hangs.
