Description:
My mouse wheel does nothing in the schemas window. With over 100 tables in my schema, being able to scroll through would be very useful. This has been a problem for as long as I have used workbench (7+ years)

How to repeat:
In the Navigator pane try using mouse wheel to scroll through schemas or tables inside a schema - it does nothing.

Suggested fix:
Make mouse wheel functional.

Hello Paul Coene,

Thank you for the report.
I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with MySQL workbench 8.0.26 but I am not seeing any issues at my end.

Regards,

My wife has same setup, hers works. Some sort of setting?

So it looks like this is device, or device driver, or integration related.

The mouse in question is a Wireless Microsoft 2000 mouse.

If I switch to another mouse, all windows work correctly with scroll wheel.

If I move the Microsoft 2000 Wireless mouse to a different computer and run workbench - same problem - main windows work, schema window will not utilize the mouse wheel.

Weird right? Why would it always work in one workbench window and not another?

It has to be something in the integration. It's not a flighty hw issue, it always does the same thing, works great in one workbench window, badly in the schema window. This behavior follows machines.
