We _just_ got our tiger build box at the middle of June and it has been tied up doing server builds. 3.51.12 should have binaries for Tiger when it ships in a few weeks.

Installer crashes in Mac OS 10.4.1. Connector developers plan to release Connector/ODBC 3.51.12 with support for Mac OS 10.4.

While the binary installer for 3.51.12 runs on OS 10.4.6 without reporting errors. It does not add the MySQL driver to the iODBC driver list rendering these instructions on configuration useless http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/myodbc-configuration-dsn-macosx.html Please fix and/or add documentation on how to add myODBC driver to list.

In 3.51.14 there is no installer, but would be very interesting to know if the other problems you see is still there? Our internal testing shows no problem specific to Mac OS X 10.4.

This bug will be reverified once there is a new installer.

We desperately need a new installer at this time. On top of that there is no dynlib file in the zip file that is currently available. Please advise.

And now with FileMaker 9.0 with integrated ODBC abilities and a URL dedicated to MySQL on their website http://www.filemaker.com/mysql/ a working installer is needed more than ever.

Rebuilding the installer from scratch, and will verify this problem is still not there.

The new installer is completed. Also the correction for bug#29964 makes the installer register the driver system wide. The earlier installer registered the driver private to the user doing the install. The installer will be in 3.51.18.

A note has been added to the 3.51.18 changelog: Installed for Mac OS X has been re-instated. The installer registers the driver at a system ()not user) level and makes it possible to create both user and system DSNs using the Connector/ODBC driver. The installer also fixes the situation where the necessary drivers would bge installed local to the user, not globally
