I get the same 'external exception C000001D' error on Windows 2003 standard edition. I go to Catalogs and when I select any database: mysql, test or any other, I get that error every time. The whole Mysql Administrator hungs and I can not do anything, I have to use task manager to kill it. The same error happens in User Administration, user root, Schema privileges after I select a database. I connect as root on localhost.

I am running Windows 2003 Web edition with MySQL Version 5.0.18, Client Version 5.0.11 and MySQL Administrator Version 1.1.6 and receive the same error every time I try select a Schemata while in User Administration. This renders MySQL Administrator useless to me and I have to use Task Manager to close it. The message I receive is a MySQL Administrator Exception 'External exception C000001D'.
