Description:
It happens when I tried to Add password on new User Configuration using MySQL Installer. 

At certain number of characters I typed, the password text box started to fill their own characters.

It is fine however, if I typed the password less than certain characters.

How to repeat:
1. Open MySQL Installer
2. Click Reconfigure
3. At this Type and Networking window, click Next
4. At this Authentication Method window, click Next
5. Now at this Account and Roles window :
   a. Fill MySQL Root Password text box
   b. and click Add User down below so MySQL User Account window popped up
   c. Fill User Name
   d. Fill Password with 16 characters long STRONG password
   e. Fill the Confirm Password text box so its match
   f. Click on Password text box

I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with MySQL Installer but I am not seeing any issues at my end.
