Description:
Table structure & data copying / exporting support in the Query Browser could use the following improvements to make life easier:

* Ability to "drag and drop" tables across databases
* Provide menu-selection to "export" BOTH table structure and data of all selected tables to a .sql file. Option should allow for appending to an existing .sql file (Function already exists in cmd-line via "mysqldump". Just need to add to Query Browser)

Thanks

-Avi

How to repeat:
no bug. just a feature request

I too would like to see mysqldump incorperated with query browser. One thing that the original feature request didnt' specify is that it would be nice to use mysqldump's compatability flag.

--compatible=name
Values: ansi, mysql323, mysql40, postgresql, oracle, mssql, db2, maxdb, no_key_options, no_table_options, or no_field_options

a checkbox for --complete-insert would also be nice to have.

Many thanks for writing a bug report. We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL Query Browser into MySQL Workbench. We won't add this feature request anymore.

More informations about MySQL Workbench you will find here:
