Description:
It's as if whoever decided how long the info text takes to pop up has never used any other software and never noticed that every other piece of software ever shows you what a button does after mouse-hovering over it for half or a third or even a quarter of the time that MySQL Workbench takes to display the text.

How to repeat:
Hover over any button and see how long it takes for the text description to come up.

Suggested fix:
Make it work like any other piece of software ever.

Thank you for the bug report.
I tried to reproduce your issue on windows 10 with workbench 8.0.23 but I am not seeing any issues at my end. 
Could you please share us the screenshot on which you are hovering the mouse? Thanks.
