Description:
Using WB 8.0.23 on Windows 10, exporting db/tables in a self-contained file (MySQL Dump) errors and doesn't export data. Gives the following error:
12:44:32 Dumping dam (all tables)
Error executing task write() argument must be str, not bytes
12:44:32 Export of b'C:\\Users\\<UserName>\\Documents\\MySQL\\Dumps\\2021-01-20-PROD-DAM.sql' has finished.

Possibly related to how WB prepends b'' before each column update if a bit is used in the update script.

Works correctly in past versions of WB.

How to repeat:
Attempt any export from WB will fail.

Suggested fix:
N/A, use a different product

When will this be investigated and corrected?

I see no bug fixes for current issued WB, is this a dead project?
