Description:
I cannot find any way to create a fulltext index against a view in MySQL. I have a support table and an actions table which we log IT Support calls to internally, but I'd like to be able to perform a fulltext search against both tables.

How to repeat:

It is not possible to create an index on a VIEW.  Indexes can only be created on real tables.
