Description:
After I entered the password to login, I see error message saying 'parameter not valid'. I looked up advanced search, but there wasn't relevant articles.

Prompted error message 'parameter not valid' with the following message.

Loginto root with password

Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat connecting against MySQL Server 8.0.22. Try to re-install using the Repair option.
