Description:
I use MySQL 4.1.11-nt.
I have experienced a serious performance problem.

When I want to create a database, create a table and add some records to this table, using a script file, MYSQL works terrific!
(mysql -uUser -pPassword < myscript.txt)

However, when I try to add records from VB6, the time it takes to add 1 record, is about 2 seconds! So adding 1000 records took me about 30 minutes....

I have tried to run the VB6 program on another machine (Windows 2000, Mysql 4.1.11-nt, MYODBC 3.51.11) and then the program works fine too.

IS there something I missed?

Regards,

Richard
