Description:
Hi,

I have problem with Workbench for about 4 months now. Even Workbench updates did not help. When I connect to any server (have many of them. Clustered and nonclustered) I got delay on first query. It takes like 1-2 minutes to execute. Execution time is something like 0,016s or so. But even SELECT 1 takes that long to execute. It does not matter if it is by SSH or just casual connect. Happens even on my local server on my machine. I start query see blue wheel rolling. If I click somewhere it stops to respond. After 2 minutes it unfreezes.
Second queries and rest are okey taking notime. if i open another connection to another server similiar problem. If I close connection and connect again same problem.

Regards

Martin Vosahlo

How to repeat:
On my computer it is just to connect to server via MySQL connections and start whatever query. Also happens to one of my colleagues. Does not matter if I am at home on VPN or at work on local network.

I forgot to add that workbench was working fine first 1-2 months I had it(july 2020). Then it changed suddenly and this started to happen. I have Windows 10.

Hello Martin Vosáhlo,

Thank you for the bug report.
I'm not seeing this issue at my end on Win10.
But there are similar reports, related to bug https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=96949, please follow the workaround and let us know if you are still facing the issue.

Hi Ashwini,

thanks for answer. Link you send me did help. I still have about 10-20 seconds of delay after deleting output history but workbench does not freeze so its acceptable.
