Description:
MySQL v.8.22 does not run on MAC 10.5 Catalina: We attempted to install on IMac 10.5 we found that a known bug exists which states that the installed version is outdated. This is actually not true, as v. 8.22. is in actual fact the latest version. Any attempt to run this version on iMac will be prevented due to this hardcoded error message.
Fix: This is a coding error on MySQL which needs to be repaired.

How to repeat:
Install MYSQL v8.22 or any version.
Copy the application to the application folder. as per instructions.
Double click on icon
Error message appears.

Suggested fix:
Currently NO fix is available. MYSQL will need to issue a new release to fix the bug

The issue continues. Now we are all been incorrectly told it can't connect. "thinking" the password is wrong. whats interesting this is the very same password used during installation...
