Description:
The length of file name defined in 'log_bin_basename' has a limit of 256.

How to repeat:
The length of file name defined in 'log_bin_basename' has a limit of 256. But this information is not mentioned in the description of system variable 'log_bin_basename'. I think it is better to add the corresponding information in https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/replication-options-binary-log.html#sysvar_log_bin.... 
A similar situation also happends in system variable 'log_bin_index', 'relay_log_basename', and 'relay_log_index'.
