Description:
Always got 2013: Lost connection error.
Cannot reproduce, but it always come *sometime*.

I got this error with php 4.3.10, then try to test it in mysql console, and console produce this error too. Sometimes. Sometimes when try to run a 'show variables' or long query.

A lot of site do this, see the cached version of google:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&q=%22Lost+connection+to+MySQL+server+durin...

OS: Debian
CPU: 64bit AMD
MYSQL: 4.1.10 and 4.1.11

How to repeat:
No idea, always do this !sometimes!

Hi!

This sounds like a tuening & configuration issue rather than a bug in MySQL. Is there any way you can send us a reproducible test-case that shows this behaviour ? In the mean time, I strongly suggest you purchase a support license from us, and we'll glady configure, optimize and tune your mysql insalation so that no more connection losses are found.
