Description:
When I try to Open a connection to Local instance MySQL80 with roor and localhost:3306 on the workbench home page I keep stuck on a never-ending Opening SQL Editor screen ("An SQL Editor instance for "Local Instance MySQL80" is opening and should be available in a moment").
When I cancel give another message "MySQL Workbench has encountered a problem" "it is not possible to access a deleted object. Object name: "HUDForm".
What can I do?

How to repeat:
I downloaded MySQL and proceeded with the total installation. Gave no installation error. In the end when giving instructions to start with the workbench this situation happened.

Experienced the same error. The workaround is to install an slightly older version. I used v8.0.19 instead of v8.0.22. Maybe even .21 works for you... didn't try.
You can find older versions at https://downloads.mysql.com/archives/workbench/

Hello,

this issue is not resolved .
I encountered it on version 8.0.0.22.
A workaround that worked for me on Win 10 is :
- right click
- Edit connection
- test connection

If connection is successful , you can retry to connect. It works for me
