Description:
The sooner I Click on the local instance of MySQL80, SQl crashes and I am not able to use the workbench the error I get is 
Exception rasied by one the workbench module. Please refer to the attached picture for more details 

How to repeat:
1. Open to workbench 8.0
2. Click on Local Instance MySQL8.0 
3. We get this error impacting me to use the workbench

Experienced the same error. The workaround is to install an slightly older version. I used v8.0.19 instead of v8.0.22. Maybe even .21 works for you... didn't try.
