Description:
When I am trying to do a new database query in Excel (2000 or 2003), I select new data source, then after giving it a name I select the MySQL ODBC 3.51 driver. In the newest version 3.51.11, I get a message that there is no system information for the driver. When I use an older version 3.51.06, and do the exact same sequence of steps, it works fine.

How to repeat:

Hi!

I created a datasource called "mysql" using myodbc 3.1.11-2 (win32). Then I selected "Data->Import External Data->New Database Query" and then selected the "mysql" datasource that I previously created. I went through all the wizard steps and my query executed correctly.

I used Excel 2003 for this with the latest service-packs.

Maybe what you're experiencing is a bug in 3.1.11 and I suggest you download 3.1.11-2 for Win32.

You can get it from here:
