Description:
In MySQL Administrator, if the application window is too small for a tab on either the Service Control or Startup Variables panel, horizontal and / or vertical scrollbars appear, but any attempt to use them in these places locks up the application.

Oddly, you can use the TAB key to navigate / scroll through the available options just fine (and the affected scrollbars advance appropriately). It is only when trying to use the mouse to move the scrollbar that things freeze up.

How to repeat:
Start MySQL Administrator, and connect to a server. Use the sizing frame to make the application window as small as allowed. Select Startup Variables, and click on the Advanced tab. Attempting to advance the vertical scrollbar on this panel causes the application to freeze.

The same issue appears on the Table Edit pop-up window.

Also, did a quick test on Windows XP SP2 and it did NOT exhibit the same behavior - everything worked fine there. Possibly this problem affects *only* WS2K3?

The problem did not occur on my Windows XP SP2 system either, but it DOES consistently happen under WS2K3. I tried different Compatibility Mode settings, but they had no affect.

I wasn't able to repeat also on Windows 2003 Server Standard Edition.
My machine is multi-boot then my first test with XP it used the same
hardware.

This also happens for me on our Win 2003 Std server. The only other software it has installed is SQL Server 2000. It has all updates applied except for SP1.
