Description:
I am able to access the MySql server 4.1 through the ODBC 3.51 driver for dozens of times - each time connecting and disconnection. At some point however I can no longer connect.

The only way I can connect again is if I stop and restart the MySql server (service) from the (Windows) Services program. This is not a work around useful for my web application! I did not seem to have this problem on Windows 2000.

How to repeat:
On Windows XP (Pro?) connect and disconnect to mySql 4.1 using the ODBC 3.51 driver until it fails to connect anymore.

How many connections you did?. Notice that there is a time for the
OS to release the port used and a limit of them, so in short time
of connection/disconnect the server can send that message
