Description:
I have been working on this since 3 days today suddenly it was not responding then I closed it and started it again. It is starting with an error saying cannot load side bar then if we click ok when I am trying to connect to my server it is asking for password after entering it says parameter invalid.

I tried restarting device even tried reinstalling it.

How to repeat:
Open Workbench, connect to any instance, receive crash.

Thank you for the bug report. I couldn't repeat with version 8.0.15 connecting local and remote with a MySQL Server 8.0.16.
